About

A living reference of current software versions, supported release lines and end-of-life dates for 460+ products — each with an as-of timestamp, a primary source, and a change history. Regenerated daily; Markdown and JSON on every page. More sections to come.

How it works

A generator runs daily. For each fact it queries the primary source named on the page, compares the value with the previous run, and records any change with the date. "As of" is the date a value last changed here; "checked" is the last refresh. Nothing on a fact page is written by hand — if the source is wrong, the page is wrong, and the source link lets you check.

Using the data

Every page exists as HTML, Markdown (.md) and JSON (/api/…json), and has its own Atom feed (/feed.xml under the page) and README badges (/badge/…svg). Section indexes likewise. A site-wide change feed is at /feed.xml, the end-of-life calendar at /eol/ with /api/eol.json. Page text is CC BY 4.0; underlying data carries the source's license (stated on each page). Attribution: "FactClock, https://factclock.com".

Advertising and affiliate links

Human-readable pages may carry advertising and clearly marked affiliate links; they never influence the data. Markdown, JSON, feeds and badges carry none.
